Part Qualified Accountant

CSC Partners Recruitment are working exclusively with one of Ireland's research organisations. Long established, with a research team drawn from a broad range of disciplines, the organisation employs 35 people.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant or qualified Accounting Technician for them. The ideal candidates will have solid experience working in a professional environment. This position, whilst based in Cork, can be fulfilled partially remotely with attendance required in the office during the week. Excellent package on offer with this role.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting analyses of the financial status of multiple grant-funded projects
• Preparing financial summaries of individual projects for the Chief Executive Officer and the Principal Investigators of the respective projects
• Developing budgets for grant applications to funding organisations
• Liaising with the external auditors and preparation of yearly financial summaries and supporting documentation for the annual external audit
• Preparing financial reports and briefings for meetings of the Board of Directors
• Working with the Operations Manager Finance to ensure compliance with the Companies Registration Office regulations
• Undertaking additional duties as may reasonably be required within the general scope and level of the post
