Terms of Engagement

By submitting this checklist, you are engaging CSC Partners to prepare and file your Irish Income Tax Return (Form 11 or Form 12) for the tax year 2025. Please review the key terms below:

1. Scope of service

Preparation and electronic filing of your personal Income Tax Return with the Revenue Commissioners. This does not include tax planning advice, representation in Revenue audits, VAT returns, payroll, or prior-year amendments (quoted separately).

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. Under Irish tax law, you remain legally responsible for the accuracy of your tax return, even though CSC Partners files it on your behalf.

3. No guarantee of refund

CSC Partners does not guarantee any specific refund, credit or outcome from Revenue. The result depends on your circumstances and Revenue's assessment. Our role is to ensure your return is prepared correctly and all applicable credits and deductions are claimed.

4. Tax agent authorisation

You authorise CSC Partners to act as your tax agent with Revenue (Agent e-Link via ROS). You must approve this link through your ROS or myAccount login.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are as quoted for the service tier applicable to your return. Payment is due before the return is filed unless otherwise agreed.

6. Limitation of liability

CSC Partners' liability is limited to losses directly caused by its proven negligence. We are not responsible for penalties, interest or charges arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you, or from late provision of documents.

7. Deadlines

The statutory filing deadline is 31 October (or mid-November for ROS electronic filers). You must provide all documents by the date we request. Late provision may result in late-filing surcharges (5% within 2 months, 10% thereafter) for which you are responsible.

8. Identity verification (AML)

Under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010, we are legally required to verify your identity before providing services. You must provide valid photo ID and proof of address.

9. Data protection (GDPR)

Your personal data will be processed solely for preparing your tax return and retained for 6 years as required by Irish law (Section 886, Taxes Consolidation Act 1997). Data is shared only with Revenue as required for filing. You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention).

10. Termination

Either party may end this engagement with written notice. Outstanding fees remain due. You must notify Revenue to remove the agent link if you terminate.
